Job Description

Responsibilities

·         Design and develop robust, secure, and scalable backend services using Python

·         Build and optimize SQL-based data pipelines and database schemas (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)

·         Integrate AI/ML models into the backend (e.g., via REST APIs, model serving frameworks)

·         Collaborate with data scientists to productionize and deploy models efficiently

·         Lead architecture discussions and code reviews

·         Build APIs consumed by web and mobile clients, focusing on performance and reliability

·         Work with DevOps to deploy and monitor backend services (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)

·         Ensure adherence to best practices in security, privacy, and data governance

Required Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

·         5+ years of experience in backend software development

·         Proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django)

·         Proficiency in design of fault tolerant, scalable systems

·         Strong expertise in SQL and relational databases

·         Strong experience in caching technologies

·         Experience working with AI/ML models in production environments

·         Familiarity with data science workflows, model lifecycle, and tools like Pandas, NumPy

·         Solid grasp of software architecture, system design, and RESTful API principles

·         Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

·         Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
