Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Leadership
    • Define and execute the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for BankSoft’s digital banking suite.
    • Drive new business acquisition and revenue growth across cooperative banks, microfinance, and SME-focused financial institutions.
    • Set ambitious but achievable sales targets and ensure consistent pipeline growth.
  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong C-level relationships with decision-makers in banks and financial services.
    • Negotiate and close high-value SaaS and licensing deals.
    • Ensure long-term partnerships through consultative selling and customer success alignment.
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performance sales team (inside sales, field sales, partner channels).
    • Drive a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and results orientation.
    • Implement sales enablement processes and tools to optimize performance.
  • Market & Product Alignment
    • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align offerings with customer needs and market trends.
    • Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to influence product roadmap.
    • Represent BankSoft at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.
  • Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
    • Develop strategic alliances with fintechs, system integrators, and technology partners.
    • Expand BankSoft’s reach through indirect channels and partner-led sales.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: 12+ years in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role selling digital banking, fintech, SaaS, or enterprise software solutions.
  • Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of core banking systems, digital banking channels, and financial technology landscape in India.
  • Track Record: Proven success in closing large enterprise deals and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong people management, team-building, and motivational skills.
  • Business Acumen: Excellent negotiation, strategic thinking, and financial planning capabilities.
  • Networking: Established relationships with banking CXOs, cooperative banking networks, and fintech ecosystem players.

Education: MBA in Marketing/Finance or equivalent preferred
