PostgreSQL. Express.js React Node.js Project Manager

Job Description

  • 4-6 years of experience in full-stack development using the PERN.
  • Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Expertise in React, including Hooks, Context API, and state management (Redux / JWT).
  • Solid backend development experience with Node.JS, Express.JS and Redis
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (PERN stack).
  • Design and optimize database schemas and queries in PostgreSQL.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL database design principles.
  • Experience in building and consuming REST APIs.
  • Basic knowledge of GraphQL is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of ORMs/ODMs such as Prisma.
  • Proficiency with Git, branching strategies, and code review practices.
  • Understanding of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and cloud platforms (AWS).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with Next.js.
  • Exposure to microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Experience building or maintaining high-scale or multi-tenant systems.

Project Management Skills:

·         Project Timeline & Delivery: Manage the end-to-end software development life cycle (SDLC), defining project timelines and ensuring features are delivered on schedule.

·         Capacity Planning: Collaborate with architects and engineering leads to translate business requirements into technical solutions while ensuring resource availability and system scalability

·         Requirement Translation: Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

·         Release & Branching Strategy: Expertise in managing branching strategies, code review practices, and release processes to ensure stable deployments.

·         Strategic Planning: Ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications while ensuring features are delivered on schedule.

·         Project Monitoring: Actively monitor production issues, system performance, and team velocity using logs and metrics from tools like CloudWatch or Datadog.

·         Risk Management: Ensure application security and data integrity by overseeing secure coding practices (OWASP) and managing deployment risks across CI/CD pipelines.

·         SDLC Oversight: Comprehensive understanding of the full software development life cycle, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
