Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform end-to-end ETL testing including data extraction, transformation, and loading validation
  • Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple data sources
  • Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans for ETL workflows
  • Write complex SQL queries to validate data in databases and data warehouses
  • Perform data reconciliation between source and target systems
  • Identify, log, and track defects, and ensure timely resolution
  • Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business teams to understand requirements
  • Implement and maintain QA automation frameworks for ETL testing
  • Ensure data quality and compliance with business rules and standards

Required Skills:

 

  • 6–8 years of experience in ETL Testing / Data Testing
  • Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data validation techniques
  • Hands-on experience with SQL (complex queries, joins, aggregations)
  • Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, DataStage, or similar)
  • Exposure to QA automation tools/frameworks (Selenium, Python, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of test methodologies, SDLC, and STLC
  • Experience working in Agile environments
