Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a detailed assessment of the existing ManageEngine environment, including:
    • ServiceDesk Plus (ITSM)
    • Endpoint Central
    • Asset Management
    • Patch Management
    • MDM (if applicable)
    • Integrations (APIs, third-party tools, identity systems)
  • Evaluate:
    • Current configurations, workflows, and automation
    • ITIL alignment (Incident, Problem, Change, Asset Management)
    • Ticketing efficiency, SLA adherence, and reporting accuracy
  • Identify:
    • Gaps, inefficiencies, and underutilized features
    • Opportunities for automation, AI/NLP usage, and cost optimization
    • Risks in current implementation and governance
  • Provide:
    • Actionable recommendations with prioritization (Quick wins vs strategic improvements)
    • Optimization roadmap aligned to business and operational goals
    • Best practices benchmarking against industry standards
  • Conduct stakeholder discussions with IT, Security, and Operations teams
  • Deliver a final assessment report and executive summary presentation

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with ManageEngine suite, especially:
    • ServiceDesk Plus (Enterprise edition preferred)
    • Endpoint Central / Desktop Central
  • Strong understanding of:
    • ITSM frameworks (ITIL)
    • Endpoint management & security best practices
    • Automation, workflows, and integrations (API-based)
  • Proven experience in:
    • Performing audits / assessments / consulting engagements
    • Designing and optimizing ITSM tools
    • Large-scale enterprise ManageEngine implementations
  • Ability to translate technical findings into business-impact insights

Preferred Qualifications

  • ManageEngine certifications
  • ITIL Certification
  • Experience in multi-region / global IT environments
  • Exposure to security tools (EDR, SIEM, DLP integrations)
