Job Description

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG and BDD Cucumber

- Design scalable and maintainable automation frameworks using Maven for build management

- Manage version control and code collaboration using Git/GitHub

- Analyze test results, identify defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues

- Participate in code reviews

- Continuously improve automation practices, test coverage, and execution speed

- Manage and optimize regression test suites to ensure coverage and stability across releases

- Track and report daily progress through Daily Status Reports (DSRs), highlighting automation coverage, issues and blockers

- Collaborate with QA, DevOps and Development teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

Skill and Qualification

·         Exp range: 3 to 4 years

·         Strong proficiency in Java programming

·         Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG and Cucumber (BDD)

·          Solid understanding of Git/GitHub workflows and branching strategies

·          Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or similar

·          Familiarity with Maven for dependency management and build automation

·          Proven ability to manage and maintain regression test sets

·          Experience in code reviews

·          Experience in preparing and sharing DSRs or similar reporting formats

·          Ability to write clean and reusable automation code

·          Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

·          Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Certificates

Exposure to API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured

ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus
