Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated UI test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.
  • Implement and enhance test automation frameworks for scalable and maintainable testing.
  • Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
  • Conduct load and performance testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Leverage Agentic AI and Microsoft Copilot to improve test design, execution, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best testing practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 8+ years in software testing and quality assurance.
  • UI Automation: Strong hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript.
  • AI in Testing: Exposure to Agentic AI and Microsoft Copilot for test automation and productivity.
  • API Testing: Experience with RESTful API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
  • Performance & Load Testing: Hands-on experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, or k6.
  • CI/CD: Practical experience integrating automation suites with Jenkins.
  • Test Management & Defect Tracking: Familiarity with JIRA, TestRail, or similar tools.
  • Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices.
  • Programming Knowledge: Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript; understanding of other languages is a plus.
  • Version Control: Experience with Git.
