Job Description

 

Key Skill Requirements

  • Strong expertise in Scala and Apache Spark (Batch & Streaming)
  • Hands-on experience in building ETL/ELT pipelines and processing large-scale data
  • Strong SQL and distributed computing knowledge
  • Experience with GCP (DataProc, GCS, BigQuery) or AWS/Azure
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience in Lakehouse technologies (Iceberg, Hudi, Delta Lake)
  • Strong understanding of data modeling (Star/Snowflake schema, Medallion Architecture)

Additional Expectations

  • Experience in data quality frameworks (Deequ, Great Expectations)
  • Exposure to workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Azkaban)
  • Familiarity with real-time analytics databases (Druid, ClickHouse, HBase)
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native data engineering
  • Knowledge or exposure to GenAI / ML pipelines is an added advantage
