Job Description

• 1–3 years of hands-on Java development experience in a production or near-production setting.

• Solid grasp of core Java concepts (OOP, collections, concurrency basics) and Java 8+.

• Working knowledge of Spring Boot or Spring MVC and REST API fundamentals.

• Familiarity with relational databases and basic SQL (Oracle DB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL).

• Exposure to unit testing with JUnit/Mockito and a willingness to write tests first.

• Comfortable in Git-based workflows and Agile sprint cycles.

NICE TO HAVE

• Exposure to messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka) or CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

• Any experience with Elasticsearch or AWS basics.

• Personal or open-source projects that demonstrate initiative beyond coursework.

• Familiarity with containerisation (Docker).
