Job Description

• 5–8 years of Java backend development experience in live, production environments.

• Deep knowledge of Java (8/17+), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA.

• Strong API design experience — REST, versioning, error handling, rate limiting, contracts.

• Hands-on experience with Oracle DB or equivalent relational databases at scale.

• Production experience with messaging systems (RabbitMQ or Kafka).

• Ownership of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent).

• Tech-agnostic at core — open to Kotlin, Go, or whatever solves the problem best.

• A finisher: complex bugs, ambiguous requirements, and system unknowns don't stop you — they focus you.

NICE TO HAVE

• Production-level Elasticsearch experience for search or analytics workloads.

• AWS experience (EC2, SQS, S3, RDS) in a live ecommerce or high-traffic context.

• Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Exposure to event-driven or microservices architecture at scale.

• Prior experience in a technical lead or architect-adjacent role.
