Job Description

Key Responsibilities

·         Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Online, etc.)

·         Administer Linux servers for day-to-day operations and support

·         Manage and automate CI/CD pipelines using on-premises Azure DevOps Server

·         Support physical hardware infrastructure: servers, storage, networking devices, and peripherals

·         Write and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and Bash for system administration tasks

·         Monitor system health, perform incident response, and ensure high availability and security of IT infrastructure

·         Collaborate with developers and other teams to optimize deployment processes and infrastructure automation

·         Maintain documentation of IT infrastructure, processes, and configurations

·         Assist in backup, disaster recovery planning, and patch management

·         Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide timely updates and resolve issues

·         Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment processes.

·         Automate the execution of test scripts and ensure integration of code security checks within the pipelines.

·         Configure and manage SonicWall firewall and VPNs; learn and adapt to network security best practices

Qualifications and Skills

·         3-5 years of experience in IT system administration with exposure to both Windows and Linux environments

·         Hands-on experience with Windows Server technologies (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Exchange)

·         Basic Linux server administration skills (Ubuntu, CentOS, or similar)

·         Experience with on-premises Azure DevOps Server for CI/CD and automation

·         Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls)

·         Experience managing physical hardware (servers, storage, networking equipment)

·         Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus but not mandatory

·         Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

·         Ability to document processes clearly and maintain IT inventories

·         Database administration basics (MySQL, MS SQL).

Nice to Have

·         Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Linux+ or RHCSA, or DevOps-related certifications

·         Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Terraform (nice to have)

·         Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware vCenter, ESXi)
