Job Description

Tech Stack:

• Frontend: Angular — component architecture, RxJS, state management, REST API integration

• Backend: Java + Spring Boot — REST APIs, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate, async processing

• Database: PostgreSQL — schema design, migrations, JPA mapping, query optimisation

• Async processing: Redis or Spring Batch • Auth: OAuth 2.0 / OIDC — JWT, role-based access control across frontend and backend

• Testing: Jasmine + Karma or Jest (FE), JUnit + Mockito + Testcontainers (BE)

• CI/CD: GitHub Actions or equivalent • Cloud: AWS or Azure — familiarity with managed services and container deployments

• Containerisation: Docker + Kubernetes

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior lead role.

2. Solid, hands-on experience with Angular — components, RxJS, reactive forms, routing, and REST API integration.

3. Solid, hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot — REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate, Spring Security, and service layer design.

4. Working knowledge of PostgreSQL — schema design, relationships, migrations, and basic query optimization.

5. Experience with OAuth 2.0 / OIDC — JWT handling on both frontend (interceptors, guards) and backend (token validation, RBAC).

6. Experience working on existing enterprise codebases — enhancing, refactoring, and extending without breaking existing functionality. 7. Experience mentoring developers and leading sprint delivery within an agile team.

8. Strong communication skills — able to work across domain SMEs, QA, design, and product teams.

9. Familiarity working with AI tools like Claude for Code development and debugging.

10. Experience implementing configurability or multi-tenancy features in an existing product.
