Job Description

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Jira Administration experience (Server, Data Center, or Cloud).
  • Strong knowledge of Jira workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, and project configurations.
  • Experience with Jira Service Management (JSM) and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Marketplace apps (e.g., ScriptRunner, Tempo, Zephyr, BigPicture).
  • Proficiency in JQL (Jira Query Language) for advanced filtering and reporting.
  • Experience with automation (Jira Automation rules, ScriptRunner, or similar).
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator certification.
  • Experience with REST APIs and scripting (Python, Groovy, or similar).
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management best practices.
