Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented CAD Design Engineer with basic to intermediate experience in NX and/or CATIA. The candidate will work closely with the R&D and product engineering team on real-time product development and design activities for a leading automotive/manufacturing OEM environment. This role offers excellent exposure to industry-standard design practices, engineering processes, and collaborative R&D projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using NX/CATIA.

• Support component and product design activities.

• Work on engineering drawings, BOM preparation, and design modifications.

• Apply basic GD&T concepts, tolerances, and manufacturing considerations.

• Coordinate with production, manufacturing, and R&D teams.

• Support prototype development and testing activities.

• Participate in engineering change and drawing release processes.

Required Skills

• Basic working knowledge of NX and/or CATIA.

• Understanding of mechanical design fundamentals.

• Knowledge of 3D modeling, drafting, and assemblies.

• Familiarity with GD&T and engineering drawings.

• Good learning attitude and teamwork skills.

Preferred

• Exposure to Teamcenter or any PLM system will be an added advantage.

• Candidates from automotive, industrial equipment, or manufacturing background preferred.
