Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Testing
· Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies for web, desktop, and API-based applications.
· Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
· Identify test scenarios, create test cases, and ensure appropriate coverage across features.
· Ensure product quality by validating Autodesk 3D workflows and design processes.
Collaboration & Delivery
· Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand Autodesk
3D use cases and workflows.
· Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA inputs early in the
lifecycle.
· Track defects, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely closure.
· Document test cases, test plans, and QA processes.
Continuous Improvement
· Identify process gaps and suggest improvements in QA practices.
· Contribute to improving testing efficiency across the team.
· Mentor junior QA engineers and share domain knowledge.
Experience
· 5+ years of experience in software testing / QA.
Mandatory Skills
· Strong understanding of Autodesk API concepts, CAD workflows, and Autodesk 3D products.
· Experience validating applications involving geometry, modeling, rendering, or visualization workflows.
· Solid understanding of QA processes, test design techniques, and defect lifecycle.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good to Have (Preferred but NOT mandatory)
· Experience in test automation:
o Tools: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium
o Frameworks: TestNG, JUnit, NUnit
· Basic scripting/programming knowledge (Java, Python, JavaScript, or
C#).
· Exposure to API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.).
· Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
· Familiarity with performance testing tools is a plus.
· Experience testing desktop applications.
