Job Description

Key Responsibilities

 Design and develop dynamic, interactive, and user-friendly web applications.

 Implement responsive interfaces in collaboration with frontend developers.

 Develop and maintain the server-side logic of web applications.

 Develop APIs to expose backend functionality securely.

 Should ensure full compliance with the office policies on workspace, working hours, and task responsibilities etc.

Skillset Required:

 Lead the development of web applications using PHP and related technologies

 Collaborate with project managers to define project requirements and timelines

 Develop high-quality code that is maintainable, testable, and scalable

 Ensure code is secure against common vulnerabilities such as XSS, CSRF, SQL injection.

 Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

 Mentor junior developers on best practices for software development

 Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in web development technologies Participate in Agile/Scrum processes including daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions etc. Create technical documentation for applications developed.

 PHP (Core and Frameworks like Laravel 10 or Above, Codeigniter 4).

 HTML 5, CSS 3 or Latest, JavaScript latest.

 MySQL 10 or above, and NoSQL databases.

 Security Best Practices

 Knowledge of securing web applications (e.g., avoiding SQL injection, XSS, CSRF).

 Familiarity with SSL/TLS implementation. Cross-Platform Knowledge

 Basic understanding of integrating PHP applications with other platforms or languages like Python or Java.
