Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and scripts.
  • Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
  • Perform database performance tuning and query optimization to improve application performance.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Develop and maintain Shell scripts for automation, monitoring, and batch processing.
  • Collaborate with application development teams to understand business requirements and implement database solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Support production deployments, issue resolution, and system enhancements.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for database processes and solutions.

Required Skills

 

  • Strong experience in SQL and PL/SQL Development.
  • Expertise in writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
  • Hands-on experience with Performance Tuning and query optimization.
  • Good knowledge of Shell Scripting (Unix/Linux environment).
  • Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling concepts.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving database performance issues.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
