Job Description
Key Responsibilities
·
Act as a liaison between
business stakeholders and IT teams to translate business needs into functional
and technical requirements
·
Analyze and document
travel business processes including Reservations, Ticketing, EMD, Exchanges &
Refunds
·
Work extensively with GDS
systems (Sabre/Amadeus/Travelport) for booking, pricing, shopping, fare
quotes, and ticketing workflows
·
Support NDC
integrations and API mapping, including analysis of JSON and XML
payloads
·
Perform data analysis
using SQL and other data tools to support business decisions
·
Create clear
documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and use cases
·
Collaborate with
development and QA teams through the full software development lifecycle
(SDLC)
·
Drive process
optimization and efficiency improvements in dynamic, high-volume environments
·
Support stakeholders
with data visualization, reporting, and insights
Required Skills & Experience
·
Strong travel domain
experience, preferably with travel agencies
·
Hands-on expertise in GDS
systems: Sabre, Amadeus, and/or Travelport
·
Solid understanding of:
o
Reservations & Ticketing
o
EMD, Exchanges & Refunds
o
Pricing, Shopping, Fare
Quotes
o
NDC
concepts and implementations
·
Experience with API
mapping and integrations
·
Proficiency in SQL,
data analysis, and travel-related datasets
·
Working knowledge of JSON
and XML data formats
·
Strong analytical,
problem-solving, and documentation skills
·
Excellent stakeholder
management and communication skills

Exposure to
travel-specific platforms and booking engines

Prior experience working
