Oracle DBA Backup and recovery Performance tuning Database monitoring SQL PL/SQL

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, monitor, and maintain Oracle database servers.
  • Perform database administration activities including backup, recovery, patching, and upgrades.
  • Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize queries and database configurations.
  • Manage database security, user roles, permissions, and access controls.
  • Ensure database availability, integrity, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolution.
  • Work closely with development and infrastructure teams for deployment and support activities.
  • Maintain database documentation, health checks, and routine maintenance activities.

    Required Skills

    • 3–5 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA.
    • Strong knowledge of Oracle Database Administration.
    • Experience in backup and recovery, performance tuning, and database monitoring.
    • Good understanding of database security, patching, and upgrades.
    • Familiarity with SQL, PL/SQL, and database troubleshooting.
    • Experience working in production support environments.
