Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions using Apache Spark, Scala, Python, and Airflow.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain batch data processing pipelines.
  • Configure and tune Spark applications and clusters for optimal performance.
  • Develop and manage workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow.
  • Work with Azure Cloud services to build and deploy data solutions.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software.
  • Follow coding standards, design patterns, and best engineering practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance and production issues.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Apache Spark
  • Good knowledge of Spark configuration and cluster tuning
  • Proficiency in Scala and/or Python
  • Experience with Apache Airflow
  • Azure Cloud experience
  • Experience building scalable data pipelines
  • SQL and ETL concepts
  • Git and Agile development practices
