Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and enhance key product features. 
  • Build and maintain high-performance, low-latency backend APIs and services.
  • Develop backend services consumed by frontend applications and solution engineering teams.
  • Design and build scalable data ingestion pipelines. 
  • Integrate and optimize data processing with modern data platforms. 
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues to ensure system reliability and performance. 
  • Work closely with open-source data engines and optimize their performance. 
  • Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and technical problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable enterprise solutions. 
Mandatory Skills 
  •  5–8 years of backend development experience using Java, Scala, or Kotlin. 
  •  Hands-on experience building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines.
  •  Experience working with Databricks and/or Snowflake.
  •  Strong production debugging and troubleshooting experience. 
  •  Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and enterprise software.
  •  Good system design and problem-solving skills. 
  •  Experience with RDBMS, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
  •  Strong SQL skills. 
  •  Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Good to Have 
  •  Experience with Apache Spark and/or Apache Kafka.
  •   Exposure to Data Quality, Data Catalog, or Data Observability platforms.
  •   Experience working on large-scale cloud-native distributed systems
