Job Description

 Responsibilities

·            Translate application storyboards and use cases into Technical solutions

·            Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable DB code

·            Understand the Database and table structures currently followed in the program and make the appropriate changes around them.

·            Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

·            Understand and modify existing database schemas , packages, procedure and functions as per the business requirements

·            Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications

·            Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems

·            Help maintain code quality and, automatization

 Skills & Qualification

·            Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.

·            Previous experience working as a PL/PG SQL developer.

·            Proficient in:

• Oracle/Postgress PL/PG SQL (procedures, functions, triggers, packages, Collections, Indexes, Types)
• SQL performance tuning and optimization
• Database design and normalization

·            Problem-solving skills and a good understanding of data structures and algorithms.

·            Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

·            Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

·            Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

·            Innovative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
