Job Description

• Perform functional, integration, API, and end-to-end testing of payment applications and card processing systems.
• Test various card transaction workflows including authorization, clearing, settlement, reversal, refund, and transaction failures.
• Work with ISO 8583 messages and validate transaction processing and message flows.
• Perform testing of Prepaid, Credit, and Debit card functionalities.
• Design and execute test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform API testing and validate request/response data, transaction status, and backend processing.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Conduct integration and end-to-end testing across payment systems and related applications.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality delivery.
• Participate in defect triage, root-cause analysis, and resolution discussions.
• Support regression testing and ensure existing payment functionalities remain stable after enhancements.
• Contribute to improving test processes, automation, and overall product quality.

Mandatory Skills

• 3–5 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Engineering
• Strong experience in Cards & Payments domain
• Hands-on experience in:
  • Functional Testing
  • Integration Testing
  • API Testing
  • End-to-End Testing
• Strong understanding of ISO 8583
• Experience testing Credit, Debit, and Prepaid card functionalities.
• Good understanding of payment transaction workflows.
• Experience working with defect management and test management tools.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
