Job Description

Data & Platform Engineer (GCP)

Technical lead for the enterprise data platform: Setting direction on infrastructure, pipeline patterns. Hands-on enough to build, senior enough to decide.

  • Own infrastructure decisions: Terraform module design, GCP project structure, IAM strategy, environment promotion (dev → staging → prod)
  • GCP SME and tech lead, sets direction, not just follows it
  • Builds reusable pipeline frameworks from scratch, not just consuming existing ones
  • Designs Terraform modules from ground up, not just using what's already there
  • Architects and builds ETL/ELT pipelines using Dataflow (Apache Beam) as the primary tool
  • Dataform for SQL-based transformations on BigQuery
  • Comfortable with enterprise/legacy data integration
  • hands-on architectural ownership
