Job Description

Key responsibilities:

·         Manage Databricks workspaces DEV, QA and PROD environments

·         Configure and manage clusters, cluster policies instance pools

·         Monitor performance usage and cost optimization and FinOps activities

·         Handle workspace level configuration and governance

·         Troubleshoot platform level issues

·         Implement and manage Unity Catalog Governance framework

·         Configure meta-store catalogs, schemas and external locations and RBAC on respective objects

·         Manage storage credentials and external data access

·         IAM and implementation of RBAC and so on…!

Required skills:

·         Hands on experience in azure data platform and data bricks administration

·         A strong experience with Databricks Unity Catalog administration

·         Strong knowledge of

o   Azure AD/ Entra ID

o   SCIM

o   RBAC

o   Service principles

o   Managed identity

o   Basic understanding of SQL

o   Azure Platform as a service ( PaaS)

o   Understanding of Azure resources like ADF, storage accounts, Key vaults and etc..
