Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Serve
as the technical owner for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
Payroll (ECP), including configuration, enhancements, release
management, testing, and ongoing system support.
- Analyze
business requirements and translate them into scalable payroll and
integration solutions aligned with global HR operations.
- Lead end‑to‑end
payroll implementations, enhancements, and integrations between
SuccessFactors ECP and third‑party vendors.
- Design,
build, test, and deploy payroll solutions, including gross‑to‑net
processing, wage types, schemas, PCRs, deductions, garnishments, and
payments.
- Partner
with HR, IT, AMS teams, project managers, and vendors to ensure successful
delivery of payroll initiatives.
- Troubleshoot
and resolve simple to highly complex payroll and integration issues,
ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Lead payroll
testing strategies, including integration, parallel, regression, and
user acceptance testing.
- Support
year‑end payroll activities, including W‑2 processing, statutory
reporting, and audits.
- Collaborate
with global stakeholders across multiple time zones (US, Mexico,
Singapore, Japan, and others).
Required Skills & Experience
- 8–10+
years of hands‑on
SAP Payroll experience, with
a minimum of two full SuccessFactors ECP implementations.
- Strong expertise in US Payroll,
including tax and benefits processing, BSI Tax Factory, and payroll
integrations.
- In‑depth knowledge of payroll
configuration: wage types, schemas, PCRs, deductions, garnishments, and
payroll logs.
- Experience with SAP BTP and
integration technologies.
- Experience
supporting Benefits integration, including health, insurance,
retirement, and savings plans.
- Strong
understanding of the Employee Lifecycle and downstream payroll
impacts.
- Proven
ability to produce technical specifications and functional design
documents from business requirements.
- Excellent
communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical
stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active SAP SuccessFactors ECP
Certification (required).
- Experience
supporting Mergers & Acquisitions payroll integrations.
- Exposure
to Workforce Software Time & Attendance solutions.
- Master’s
degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical
field (or equivalent experience).
