Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

·        
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Snowflake and Python (preferably Snowpark).

·         Write and optimize complex Python & SQL queries in stored procedures for data transformation and reporting.

·         Integrate data from various sources including SFTP, AWS S3, and Excel files.

·         Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, performance, and configuration.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions aligned with business needs.

·         Document technical processes and contribute to knowledge sharing via Confluence and JIRA.

Required Skills & Experience:

·        
10+ years of IT experience in data engineering or related roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, performance tuning, data sharing, etc.).

·         Expertise in Python & SQL for data processing and automation.

·         Expertise in writing and optimizing Python and SQL stored procedures.

·         Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.

·         Ability to understand and troubleshoot configuration and data pipeline issues effectively.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Experience with Automic scheduling tools.

·         Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

·         Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
