Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the overall enterprise DevOps and cloud infrastructure strategy.
  • Design scalable, secure, resilient, and highly available DevOps architectures.
  • Establish and evolve platform engineering capabilities and reusable developer platforms.
  • Define enterprise standards for CI/CD, infrastructure automation, deployment, monitoring, and operational processes.
  • Design and implement Azure governance frameworks, including subscriptions, management groups, policies, RBAC, tagging, and resource governance.
  • Define and implement DevSecOps architecture, integrating security, compliance, vulnerability management, and policy controls into development and deployment workflows.
  • Develop enterprise Infrastructure as Code and automation frameworks.
  • Establish SRE practices, including reliability engineering, observability, SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, incident management, and operational excellence.
  • Define infrastructure strategies for highly available and scalable cloud platforms.
  • Design solutions across multi-cloud environments where required.
  • Drive cloud and infrastructure cost optimization and FinOps practices.
  • Establish reusable frameworks, templates, pipelines, and automation standards for engineering teams.
  • Evaluate emerging DevOps, cloud, containerization, and automation technologies.
  • Provide technical leadership to DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, security, and infrastructure teams.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, application architects, security teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and ensure adherence to enterprise technology standards.
  • Define disaster recovery, business continuity, scalability, and resilience strategies.
  • Guide teams on migration and modernization of legacy infrastructure and deployment processes.

Mandatory Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Architecture, or Platform Engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps.
  • Proven experience in Enterprise DevOps Architecture.
  • Strong experience in Platform Engineering and developer platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Azure Governance and Enterprise-scale Azure architecture.
  • Extensive experience with DevSecOps architecture and implementation.
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD architecture and automation frameworks.
  • Experience implementing SRE practices and observability.
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and container platforms.
  • Experience developing enterprise automation frameworks.
  • Experience with infrastructure security, identity, networking, and compliance.
  • Experience with multi-cloud architecture such as Azure with AWS/GCP.
  • Strong experience in infrastructure scalability, availability, resilience, and disaster recovery.
  • Strong technical leadership and stakeholder management skills.
