Job Description

Experience

·         Minimum 10 years of relevant DevOps and cloud infrastructure experience, with strong recent hands-on technical involvement

·         Strong recent hands-on experience with production-grade AWS environments

·         Ability to work independently and own technical activities through implementation, validation, documentation, and closure

 Key Skills

·         Strong AWS infrastructure experience, including EC2, ECS, Docker, VPC, IAM, load balancers, RDS PostgreSQL, CloudWatch, and related AWS services

·         Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, Terraform, or equivalent

·         CI/CD using Bamboo, Bitbucket, Git, Maven, Gradle, and Nexus

·         Strong Python and Bash/Shell scripting

·         Cloud networking, DNS, security groups, routing, and connectivity troubleshooting

·         TLS/mTLS, certificate rotation, keystores, and truststores

·         Monitoring and observability using CloudWatch, AppDynamics, Kibana, or equivalent

·         Vulnerability scanning, remediation, and integration of security checks into CI/CD

·         Production deployments, change management, troubleshooting, and technical documentation

·         Experience supporting SOC 2 and/or PCI DSS audits, including evidence collection, control validation, and remediation

·         Proficiency in responsibly using approved AI-assisted tools for DevOps automation, scripting, troubleshooting, and documentation

·         Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues clearly, coordinate with cross-functional teams, document decisions, and provide timely status, risk, and escalation updates

Preferred Skills

·         Customer or partner onboarding involving APIs, certificates, and secure connectivity

·         AWS cost and capacity optimisation

·         Backup restoration and disaster-recovery exercises

·         Relevant AWS certification
