Job Description

Job Description: Data Engineering & ETL

  • Design and implement scalable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and ELT pipelines using DBT and Cloud Composer.
  • Schedule and monitor data orchestration jobs using Apache Airflow or Cloud Composer.
  • Develop robust data processing scripts in Python.
  • Create complex queries, stored procedures, and window functions for analytics.
  • Optimize slow-running queries and manage table partitioning and clustering in BigQuery.
  • Provide status updates, handle change requests, and deliver training or documentation to customers periodically.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 6+ years of data engineering experience, with at least 4-5+ years focused on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and big data tools (Spark, Beam, or Hive).
  • Hands-on experience with GCP services like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataflow.
