Job Description

Required Skills & Qualifications

•          10+ years of overall Data Engineering experience, with 5+ years specifically on Snowflake

•          Expert-level SQL and strong experience with Snowflake-specific features (Streams, Tasks, Snowpipe, UDFs, Stored Procedures)

•          Strong hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (dbt, Informatica, Talend, Matillion, or similar)

•          Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred) for automation and pipeline development

•          Solid understanding of data modeling techniques (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Data Vault)

•          Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and native integrations with Snowflake

•          Hands-on experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Control-M, or similar)

•          Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks

•          Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices for data engineering

•          Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred / Nice to Have

•          Snowflake certification (SnowPro Core / SnowPro Advanced)

•          Experience with real-time/streaming data (Kafka, Kinesis)

•          Exposure to BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)

•          Experience in a technical lead or architect capacity

•          Familiarity with data mesh or modern data stack principles
